JUST WHO EXACTLY IS DR. ISOCELLATOR?

Doktor Isocellator created our laser system and built our custom electronics. Seldom seen outside of his secret lab (or during daylight), Dr. Isocellator is easily mistaken for a mad scientist or crazed genius as often portrayed in 1950s science fiction films.

Isocellator Lightshow Systems was founded after a chance meeting between the Doctor and J.J. Neufeld while investigating an “incident” involving transdimensional incursion, possible extraterrestrial contact, and a rave. The two gentlemen found they had much in common, and a partnership was formed.

…so WHAT ABOUT J.J. Neufeld?

As a science fiction obsessed teenager, J.J. began collecting strange “party lights” and other odd, glowy devices, and was known to show up at festive gatherings with a box full of illuminated curiosities (and extension cords).

During a decade or so in the Film & Television industry J.J. rented some LED stage fixtures for a production and was completely blown away by what they were capable of. He soon bought a few of his own for use in a ongoing weekly TV show featuring local bands, and started gaining a reputation of doing “cool lights”. Musicians and bands started asking if he could bring out his lights to their shows and jam out light shows for live performances.

Soon after – Lasers!

One night J.J. saw an RGB animated laser at a show and was so amazed at what it could possibly do in the right hands that he immediately went and got one of his own. Then another one. Then more.

Soon his mesmerizing laser shows were being requested for events all over Western Canada. Lasers are the most exciting thing he has ever found to put his mind to and he is constantly evolving and tweaking his systems for more vivid colours and expressive patterns and effects. Considering himself as much an artist as a technician, he puts equal value on creative expression and technical prowess.

He still brings a box of cool lights to his friend’s parties.
